"Yeah we did." I said and pushed people away till I got to the opening of the tunnel that the box came up in. We had tried to send someone down there once, a brave glader named Nick. Something down cut him clean in half and we'd only lowered him a few feet. The box was close now though and the creaking of the machine echoed through the glade now that the alarm stopped. "Get me the crowbar., We'll need to pry it open." I said looking back and a girl handed me the tool.

"Alright then." I said as Cleo helped me pry open the metal hatch, the grey light of the evening sky illuminating the inside of the box. Someone sat huddled in the corner like all of us had done on our first day. I swung my legs over the side and landed inches away from the boys feet. "C'mon lets get you outta this piece of klunk."

I stood up slowly blinking afew times as the light came in blinding my slightly. I could make out figures infront of me and and then someone landed infront of me. i rubbed my eyes and stared at the person infront of me, then nodded slightly.

I ran up to the group of Gladers, and pushed between them to get a better view of the Greenie. At the first glance of the Greeies face I instantly recognized him. His face brought back a sudden rush of memories from when I was in the changing.
