I watched a girl walk down the street examining all the broken buildings. Stupid mutts and their shape shifting. I couldn't tell if this girl was just a human or possibly my next kill. Figuring out if there a wolf has always been the hardest part of the hunt. I climb up onto the roof of a half torn down building and watch her.

I sat down on a rotting stool in an abandoned apartment. This place smelt moldy and I tried not to breathe through my nose. I was in my human form and I took out my canteen to drink some of the water. With the kinds of hunters they've been training recently too many of my kind have vanished and it's too dangerous to be in our true form.
