I froze. My thoughts registering at what she said. "What the hell do you mean? Who would want to find me?!" I thought about it for a moment. I think I knew who was looking for me.The academy place. I was cringing slightly. Something told me she was like me a non-normal person...but I still didn't trust her. I still didn't even know her name! and the boy. "What happened to the boy?...What is going on?!" I said.

I took Cody's punch hard to the face but I stood my ground. "Gotta hurt" One of the new people grinned. "Only at first." I smirked and spat blood onto the floor. But I couldn't help but hear what Cody had said, that he was sick? "No they keep you healthy there." I said loud but it was mostly to reassure myself. When I was tested on it was at a very young age so the memories were dim.
*Flash Back*
Twila- age 10
"Now remember child. Don't wander into the west wing of the institute. Deal?" The Doctor smiled at me and I nodded but there was something hiding in the west wing that was a secret. And I loved secrets. I walked down the halls until I came to the locked door of that lead to the west wing. But I had remembered all six digits of the identification code and easily walked through the door. The halls were dead quiet and I walked through them slowly noticing a door was opened just a crack and the light from inside spilled out into the hall. I peeked through the crack and there was a person laying on a table, a doctors table. A young man dressed in a white coat and mask walked up beside the table and spoke into a voice recorder. "Test 1,3,5 have currently failed. Extraction of Powers not complete." goes over to the cupboard and pulls out a syringe from the top shelf. "Subject 238 also known as Emily has failed. Subject terminated." The doctor spoke and I didn't understand until the needle was in Emily's arm and she shook so violently until she fell still. The young man lifted the white sheet over her face and spoke into the recording device. "Time of death 14:00." And I ran out of the room and down the halls till I had left the west wing. I had to escape tonight without anyone knowing, but just as I had reached the east wing the doctor was waiting for me. "Your not a good listener." He said to me in a father like fashion. "Make her forget."
Dean
"How did you get out?" I asked the boy and then he punched Twila hard in the face.

The thing is, is that when I use my power. After being shapeshifted into a person for a long time. I get nautious. With headaches and such. So I did escape. But thats when she. " I glared over at Twila, and put a little more distance away from her. As she was recovering from the punch. "Found me vulnerable. And I've always felt nautious and such after shapeshifting. I think that they were trying to take that side affect out. But I don't want that. Screw them. And now I'm screwed." I said. A sudden rage filled me."This whole building is probably one of your science places isn't it?" I snarled at Twila. "And you just help them Giddily?! You bitch." I scowled.

We didn't help people. We killed people. How many lives had I taken just from helping the doctor? Would Cody have been killed too, maybe even me eventually. "Get out all of you." I said and walked passed Cody. I pulled out a knife and cut off deans rope. "Its not safe here at all." I pushed his insult away, I knew I was a bitch.
