I peered out of the water, seeing 2 more people standing at the shore. I didnt mind humans, really. I didnt understand why my kind despised them. I was banished from my family ever since I helped that human girl.
I sighed, and splashed my tail. But just abit to loudly.

I froze, to paralyzed to move. Sure, I didnt like humans, but I never liked them knowing about me.

I was done with my meal and saw another mermaid who splashed her tail perhaps a bit too much. I swam up to her and saw two human girls as well. "What are you doing just sitting here like that? They've spotted you! Get under the water!!!!" I whisper shouted at her, then dragged her back under with me.
