| People didn't really understand why or how but one day everything just went wrong. A black cloud was released onto earth searching for human vessels to possess. Mostly the demons chose teenagers because they were young, innocent and harmless. When you get possessed its almost impossible to regain control of your true self, leaving the monster inside of you doing terrible things while you watch. You're eyes turn black, and you gain super strength. Demons were once human just like you with family and a life but now their just tortured and twisted souls seeking to be alive again. People have found ways to keep the demons away. Holy water and salt seem to be most effective on hurting the demons but not the human physically while the way of getting the demon to leave their human vessel has been undiscovered. No place is safe, only safer.
