I opened my eyes slowly, not being able to really move. Everything felt like it had slowed down, like the earth stopped moving. The voices around me sound slow too and its so very hard to make out what there saying, something about birds. Then a sharp jab in my arm brought me to me senses and I could feel nothing but pain. It shot through all my bones, felt like the were twisting and grinding against each other but the more pain I felt the lighter I felt. After what seemed like hours the pain got more and more intense and couldn't help but scream with every twist. Then there was another sharp jab in my arm and the world melted away once again.

I let them drag me away, sedate me and throw me in a cage like I was an animal. I guess that is what I really am but I didn't used to be that way, all of us were once normal. The worst part of this cell was that it had no windows and the only thing for a bed was a pile of smelly rags in the corner. "bad kitty." The guard smirked as he pushed me onto the ground and locked the door behind him.

I sat up in my bed suddenly and nothing hurt. My eyes were not sensitive to the light anymore and the doctors had disappeared all together. I fell back down into the bed and it was soft like feathers, like I had wings on my back and it was possible to fly off at any moment. Wait....wings? My left arm went up to touch my back and I ruffled soft white feathers through my fingers. "AAHHHHHG" I yelled and jumped back ramming into the blue painted wall. Across the room was a peice of paper sticky tacked to the wall and I walked up to it slowly, reading it. FINAL REPORT. It started and I began skimming the page, stopping at where it said my name.Dean has shown amazing progress after being crossed with a SWAN. He had developed wings, air bags and hollowed bones to make his body lighter. I stopped reading and sat down on my comfy bed. So this is what it feels like to be that girl, Page.

I heard loud noises and hissing sounds down the halls along with a few screams. "What the hell...?" I mumbled and walked up to my door but there was no glass to through.Then suddenly the door opened and two guards stood in front of me each taking one of my arms and pulled me out into the hall. "Whats going on?" I asked. but they ignored me. We passed an old iron door on the way past and I couldn't imagine how horrible the inside of that room is just looking at the door, and the smell. We took another turn and the hissing got quieter until we stopped in front of another door. "Play nice." The guard said opening the door and pushing me in. Then he locked it behind me. I brushed off my shirt and glanced up noticing a flash of colour that brought a smile to my face. "Page!" I said happily.

Maybe coming back wasn't the greatest idea and even by giving me this room, I can't wait to see what my real punishment will be. A series of hisses and yelling echoed throughout the halls. Savanna and the Angry Bear must be hear now. Then footsteps past my door and by the time I looked all my eyes saw was a flash of white feathers and bare feet.

I didn't wait for his replays, I heard the others going ballistic, "The others are going crazy, it's the perfect time to leave. When the scientist get everything back together they won't look for us first. You do have a place we can hide right?"
I didn't know much about normal humans but I'm sure that they use shelter too, I'm not that dumb am I?

| I saw 2 terrified guards standing before a large steel door. I assumed the others were locked in there. I easily killed the guards, their blood dripping off my hands. I spat my acid-like venom on the door, and melted a hole through it. I peeked through. "Peek-a-boo!" I laughed, like a phsyco. Which, technically, I really was.
