I had been standing, listening to Wylstein, his voice drowned on as I had peered out the window. It was late in the afternoon, the sunlight dimming to night. It looked like it would be quite a cool night. Surely this speech would be ending quite soon. Or maybe it was just my patience thinning.

The stars were out, shining quite brightly. Though something else caught my eyes. A struggling person being dragged into the alleyway. That immediately brought my out of my seat. This was definitely not a good thing. When I turned, I realized I may have been gazing out the window longer than I thought, as everyone was already getting out of their seats. I hurried to get out of the building, and rescue the man. Once I had, I speed walked over to the alleyway. Looking around as I did so.

My eyes widened as I stepped back in surprise at the sight of...me. I blinked a couple times. And then gone. Nothing. Just a dead body, and me. I had to get out of here. I ran out of the alleyway, I had to head to my house. Thousands of different thoughts running through my head as I did.

I had reached my house, breathing heavily. I peered out of the window. The sky getting darker, and in the distance. A moon. I froze. No, there shouldn't be a moon at all. There was one just a couple days ago! I ran to my dresser, opening the top drawer with a bit of trouble due to my shakiness. I grabbed a pair of cheap clothes, and scrambled as I got undressed and redressed. And sprinted out the front door. I had to get out of town.

"No...No..." I murmured. I could feel my muscles twitch. "There was not to be a moon today!" I whispered quietly to myself in frustration. I arrived at the gates. The usual guards that were there, and I froze. The gates were closed, why were the gates closed!? I looked around. Where could I go? What should I do?
