I stepped out of the shadows and turned to face the guy with the bow and arrow.
"That's as far as you go," I said a crack in the ground opened up enoguh to let three skeletons to climb out. Even with me being the God of the Dead, they still creeped me out, with their yellowing bones and the chunks of rotting flesh still hanging on... Controlling the dead was probably my least favorite method of attack. In fact, most of the time I choose not to attack at all. Manipulating people's minds, lieing, trickery, betrayal, treachery, those are my weapons of choose, but for solving a problem quickly and effectivly, controlling the dead was best.
Don't kill him, I told the dead through telepathy. [/i]Just beat him until he's at death's door.[/i] This thought let a small smile creep onto my face.
