| I stopped, looking at the gate of Bullridge, walking up, as two guards stopped me.
"We come in the name of the empire. Any opposition to us is considered direct hatred towards the empire, and any hostile actions will result in your entire town being put down."
They let us through, to say the least.

| Once we arrived at the gate, the pair of guards stopped us. They had no barrier around their minds, so I went ahead and rummaged through their more recent memories, taking care not to harm them and give them a clue about who we were. After I finished, I spoke to them.
"We are guards of the Urgal who just entered the city," I said to them.
"An Urgal hardly needs protection," The guard on my left said, "do you have proof?"
"Don't you recognize me?" I said while subtly editing his memories.
"Not really..." The other guard said, moving his blade to the front of him. "Now begone, before you end up with your head on a stake."
"Frank!" The first guard said. "Watch your tounge! This is governor Norell!" He turned to me. "Pay him no heed, sir. Please, enter." The other guard grumbled as he lowered his blade. I walked in, hastened to enter before he tried anything.

| As we entered the city, I searched for the mind of the Urgal. He likely knew something about the whereabouts of the Varden agent - Ah, there he was. I fast-walked towards him, though we were still a safe distance away.
