Backstory:
About twenty years ago, our glorious leader, Lord Reign of Aeluris,
traveled to the land we have today, prepared to take the land from the
beasts that once roamed it. He entered the land with an army, striking
down every vampire and creature that opposed him, bravely fighting for
the land that we rule today! He came through, slaughtering and
silencing the futile opposition of those who stood against him, and
thanks to your forefathers, we have all that we own today, and we have
slain at least a single race of those wretched beasts, saving a unknown
amount of people, who could have fallen to them, had he not bravely
chased the vampire leaders, slaying them in the ancient temple they hid
in. He went in with five men, five brave souls, but exited,
unfortunately, with none. But, the sacrifice was not in vain, for we
have the great future, of today! Since it is the 20th anniversary of
this sacrifice, we are here to first, honor those whom have fallen, and
then celebrate our victory against the foul beasts! Now, we WOULD have
had the king around for a speech, for strictly moral reasons, but he
was a bit busy today. It's a bit unfortunate as to what happened to
ruin his family, but I've got to say, at least it didn't end like mine.
Thirteen years of strict hell, for nothing in return. But hey, we
don't win 'em all.
Primary Locations:
-Aezulis; Grand capital of Aerulis
Kentiro:
The town of the peasantry. Within this area, cheap, yet unkept, huts
and housing are provided for those who cannot pay for true housing. Due
to population-to-work ratio problems, there are a large amount of
people without a well paying job.
-Orinado
Mountains: A huge mountain range to the north of Kentiro. The area is
very cold and rocky. There are many ancients ruins near the base of the
mountains. It is said they were created by the ancient dwarves. What
happened to these dwarves, nobody knows.
-Orinado Volcano: A large volcano near the center of the Orinado Mountains.
-The Temple of Lohrik [Ruins]:
The screams of the servants of the dark lord can still be heard echoing through the halls of this final battleground.
-Aroben:
Overrun by the humans, this once great elven city is now a wasteland,
mixed with destruction of elven creations, and human creation and
failure.
Secondary Locations:
-Aezulis Forest:
The forest surrounding Aezulis.(Duh.) Is one of the few locations near Aezulis to have
a substantial amount of 'Mythics'.
-Temple
of Alteris: Dwarven ruins at the base of the Orinado Mountains. Filled
with traps and predatory animals. It is said that there is a great
treasure within, but none have been able to get to it.
-Ruins
of Daviir: Daviir was an ancient dwarven city. It now lies in ruin.
There is nothing of value here, except for a few ancient artifacts that
most would find useless.
-Tirdis:
A small village located next to a river, west of Aezulis. In recent
years, the population has been dwindling. A hundred years ago, gold in
the river brought many to the town, but that gold has since run out.
-Divinado,
Den of theives: Don't be fooled by the name, it IS a town. This town
is filled with the most vile theives and scourges around, that, unless
you can steal it back, you'll be taking your own blade to the back.
-Dritaas:
A small mining village at the foot of the Orinado Mountains. Resources
are common, and many are moving to the area due to this.

His Majesty, Lord Reign of Aeluris:
Age: 40
Race: Human
Phys.
Description: A tall, slender man with dark brown hair and eyes.
Slightly pale skin, and usually wearing very ornate clothing with a bit
of
elegent armor attached.
Possessions: The Kingdom; An enchanted longsword named 'Justice'.
Bio:
Born, well, 40 years ago, into a family of peasants in a world ruled
by the vampire gentry, Reign was a natural tactician and politician,
organizing several raids against the vampires. Eventually, he was put
in a position to lead a revolution against the people's mythic
overlords, and he took it. Over 3 years, the rebellion succeded easily,
pushing back the vampire's control to their castle. During the
invasion of the castle, the king and queen retreated to the Temple of
Lorik, their god of darkness. Reign lead a small special forces unit of
5 through the back entrance in order to finish off the vampires.
Though all his unit died, they succeded. A new world was born.
Alric Lightfoot

Race: Human
Phys.
Description: A large(fat), shorter man with black hair, blue eyes, and
a large, waxed moustache. He usually wears a red vest over a simple,
white homespun shirt. He also wears simple leaher shoes and brown pants.
Possessions: one of Aleuris' local inns, 'The Golden Goose'
Bio:
A simple man, all Alric Lightfoot wants out of life is peace and
quiet. Unfortunately, with all these mythics showing up everywhere,
Alric doesn't often get the calm his frazzled nature requires.
Aaron Hiliro
A.ge: 29
Race: Human
Phys.
Description: Wears brown, ripped, cloth clothing, and nothing else.
His current clothing is slightly small on him, due to being very old
and ragged. Dusty, messy brown hair, onyx eyes, fair skin, but is
rather dirty. 5'8.
Weapons: None
Bio: Lived a simple life, if you ask him. He's a rather quiet person, and keeps to himself most of the time.
Wylstein Brachman
A.ge: 36
Race: Human
Physical
Description: A short man with brown-white hair, who wears anywhere
from simple and beautiful robes, to glorious and bright, shining armor.
He is Caucasian, and tends to carry around a blade he calls Iceblood.
Weapons:Iceblood, his powerful and trusted blade.
Misc. Items: N/A
Bio:
Wylstein is a bit of a odd man. Sometimes he is talkative, and
sometimes you cannot silence his endless chatter. He is the right-hand
man of the King, and is quite wise, easily protecting his position with
acts of intelligence, and feats that tend to impress the king, quite
easily. No one has challenged his position in 20 years, perhaps you
could step up to the challenge?
Beasts:
-Magmoid:
A blob of magma. They stick close to the [name] Volcano. They cool off
and die if they are exposed to the cold. Water will slow them down,
and eventually kill them. Can divide into more Magmoids if they are
big enough.
-Werewolf:
Vicious beasts of a vile nature. They could be your friends, they
could be that person you met on the street begging for coins. If you
suspect a werewolf, please report it to a knight.
-The
"Mistake": Typical flesh-creatures, accidents of alchemy. These
creatures are easily recognized, and should typically be avoided by the
average adventurer. If you challenge one, the authorities are not
expected to deal with any complaints as to missing limbs or unfortunate
accidents regarding bystanders.. REPORT ON SIGHT.
-Acrid:
A foul beast that lives in swamps. They are large, furry,
gorilla-like creatures that emit a foul smelling stench. They are very
strong, and capable of climbing trees. They will attack anything that
comes near.
-Dragon: If you sight a dragon, REPORT DIRECTLY TO THE KING. DO NOT ENGAGE.
-Fog
Dwellers: No one knows what they look like, but they only appear in
the fog of the autumns, or when the fog rarely rolls in from the
swamps. It is believed you can find and engage them in the swamps, but
even if they are killed within the fog, they disappear with the fog
itself. It is recomended that all citizens stay indoors during fog, and
shut all windows.
-Fire
Spirit: They are not actual spirits. They appear as orange flames,
with glowing blue eyes. They tend to avoid people, and lurk in the
mountains. REPORT ON SIGHT. DO NOT ENGAGE.
-Howler:
These nocturnal beasts live in the cold regions. They let out a
bone-chilling howl to communicate with eachother. They look are tall,
bulky, and furry. They run on all fours, but can walk on their hind
legs. They have huge claws and teeth. They live in packs. REPORT ON
SIGHT. DO NOT ENGAGE.
-Drakes:
A close cousin to the Dragons, these smaller beasts are little more
nuisance than a wolf. However, a flock of Drakes can pose serious
threats to local livestock and, occasionaly, people. IT IS RECOMMENDED
THAT YOU REPORT THESE CREATURES, as they reproduce quickly.
-Gryffin:
Large creatures with the body of a lion, front feet of a bird, and
head of an eagle. They can be dangerous if engaged, but normally keep
to themselves. Very rare. REPORT ON SIGHT.
-Verryn:
Large reptillian creatures with huge wings. They have talons, and long
beaks. They immit a loud, high-pitched squawk when they attack their
prey. The squawk is very painful, especially to humans. Although these
creatures are rare, they are EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. REPORT ON SIGHT.
-Dark
Mirage: Though this is rumored to not be a true creature, if you see
it, please report the occurance as a TOP PRIORITY mention.
-Lost
Ones: These were once humans, who have gone insane due to ingesting a
poisonus plant found in the mountains. They live in caves near the base
of the mountains. They are still somewhat intelligent, able to craft
basic tools. They attack on sight. Please report their locations as
soon as possible.
-Leviathans:
Giant sea serpents that roam the waterways and oceans. Very dangerous
and vicious. Attacks anything in their way. REPORT LOCATION DISCOVERED.
-Children of Lohrik:
Shades
that come in many shapes, sizes, and varieties. May possess various
objects within the proximity of their location. REPORT ON SIGHT AS A
TOP TIER THREAT.
