Dear reader,
Before you read this I assure you that everything I telll you is true. The reason you have never heard of it is because it took place on a world that is different than ours, yet the same.
That world was much like ours. But there was a great evil their. It turned the hearts of people to malice. No kindness was shown, only hate. The darkness fed off these feelings and axts of malice and hatred and grew in power. From the people's own hearts, They were created. Creatures so terrifing that they were not named. Some people called them the "Network". It was a good term to use. A network of creatures working for one greater evil.
This is not one of those stories were hereos rise up and save the day. No, quite the contray. In this story, these creatures came to cover the world and people's malice was replaced with fear. Soon, the world became of place were to go outside would be the same as killing your self. Which many people did to escape the madness.

One of Them slipped past my hiding place, which was basically a pile of junk in an alley made so that I could get in and out and so that noone would see me inside it, but I could see them. There really was no way to descripe Them. Some took the form of humans, or animals, other's took the forms of various monstrosities. And other's were just masses of darkness, but all of them were shapeshifters. The one that went past my jumk pile had the form of a fox, but it's eyes glowed red and it had fur as black as obsidian.

I crawled out through the small exit I'd made in what I liked to call the junk pile. Overall, the city looked more or less intact. Most of the people had escaped before They came so there wasn't much carnage as They didn't attack material objects. The sky was dark and the light of the sun blocked out by the ominess(I know it's spelled wrong) dark clouds. Basically like everyother day. Since They had arivved, no one had seen the sun. Sicne that day, our world had been cast into a shadow that we could never escape from.
