| Story:
Underneath New York City, there is a whole other world that is completely unknown to the "Overlanders." The other world is the Underland. In the Underland, there are no guns. Only swords. The inhabitants are, indeed, humans. Mostly. They're called the Underlanders, by themselves and the very, VERY few people who have managed to find the Underland. They died after a few days down there. Why? Because of the nonhuman inhabitants. Giant versions of other animals. They speak English, too. The hostile creatures are Rats, Spiders, and the rare Flower-Nosed Mole. There are more friendly creatures, but the Rats have much larger numbers, and if the toughest species was to survive down here, it would be a face off between the Rats and the Underlanders. The usually kind-ish creatures include; Mice, Fireflies, Cockroaches, and the Bats. The Bats. Each Underlander bonds with a amazingly large bat, and swear to protect each other, "Till death do them part."
You and a small group of your friends had a compatition, to see who could lift up a large rock in Central Park the highest. Underneath it, a staircase into the ground.

Bio: Used to look like a bat, until she was caught and experimented on. Soon after she got out, she transformed into a strange bird looking creature. But, she ended up on the Overland, and decided to bond with an Overlander. She was stuck on the Overland, because the scientists had taken her out of the Underland.

Weapons: Dual pure silver broadswords and hand crossbows.
Bond: Xephox The Bat
Bio: Slayzo was the one who lifted the rock the highest, about 3 years ago, when HIS friends did it. Whether or not their alive still, we do not know. But he was the one who moved it out of the way, and he is now a well known blacksmith of the Underlands. He can forge with almost any metal with his tools.

Bio: Xephox is basically the security of The blacksmith shop, and the mount of Slayzo. Occasionally when a person finds a large ore deposit and can't carry it all back, people ban just simply come to the shop with a few ores to show Xephox, and Slayzo Takes Xephox to the ore area and brings it all back in a fisher's net.

"Jack, stay close" I muttered. Since I was previously a bat, (Which I suprisingly still am), I could see in the dark. Atleast I wasnt blind anymore, because in the experiments I was in, I was given eyes.
