As soon as I heard Chirion say the words I ran backwards against the direction the rest of my team was running. I knew exactly where our flag was and I was one of the people men't to protect it. No one should see me against this crowd considering I was so short, soon I resided about 10 feet from the flag in a hollow log. The real guard for our flag was hiding somewhere else.
Maya
I ran with my team against the blue, yelling war cries. My silvery sword was raised in the air and I made first contact with a taller boy. Then my instincts kicked in and a full fledged fight between us began. I managed to trip him and continued to make my way towards the flag.

Normally I guard the flag, but Sam had challenge me to a rematch and no one on his cabin, he's the son of Ares, would ever let me forget it of I didn't fight him. Also many of the younger campers looked up to me and loved watching me fight... So as I push through the mass with ease dodging others mini fights. Soon I came face to face with Sam, his smile made me sick it used to be sweet. Something happened and I Havnt been able to find out.
"Let's get this over with," I say. No reply from him for a second then a swing of his sword.
He was fighting under high emotion, this gave me the upper hand I didn't need. I was naturally stronger then him. I easily sidestep his attack and trip him.
"Now I'm getting the flag. See you later."

The blue flag was close, and I could see it a few meters away but a sudden snapping sound broke through the woods and a tall muscular boy from the blue team jumped swiftly out of a tree. I remembered seeing him once outside of the cabin with the bull head but I couldn't remember his parent.

I sat ready in the log and watched the girl named Maya appear. Then Bruce, son of ares jumped from his hiding spot and landed in front of her. I should have known they would've assigned him as guard if not Kenzie.
