Very little happened that night, for the most part things were quiet. Svlark got drunk again, he's in the brig for the next week. Oh well. Heading is good.

| About the middle of the afternoon, a giant white shark was spotted to port. It's following us, I think. Sometimes it vanishes for awhile but then its dark shape looms up again just behind us. I wonder why. Saw a ball of light on the western coast this morning. It had a tail. The first of many strange sights, I should expect.
