Nearing the end of the night we finally got to Country Inn & Suites By Carlson Jackson, in Peal Mississippi. Minus Adara. When we got to the front desk I pulled out my credit card, it took me a second to read the number printed in the cards. Though I should have pulled it out fast enough.
"We need five rooms for the night."
"I'm sorry I can not accept the card."
"What because I'm a teen? God people," I muttered, then I pull out my debit card. "Is this better?"
She didn't say anything, I assume she nodded. "Here are the keys to your rooms, they are on the second floor. Enjoy your stay." Her voice irritated me so much, though it must have been us that irritated her the most. I'm sure not many people come here randomly, after all this is a fairly small place.
"Hey, if you don't want to be found by your family then why do you us credit cards and stuff? Can't they track that?" The girl that asked, uh Marii I believe, was a bit quiet with her question but not to much.
"My Dad made the accounts shortly before he died. My mom wasn't told about them because it was going to be a surprise.... I can't remember why it was so long ago. My mom never got it and my dad used a different bank then my mom. The bank doesn't know anything is wrong 'cus they're oblivious. Anyway it had a pretty sizable amount on it. I try to not us it, but I guess this is a fine time."
"Oh," was her reply that is not really a reply but a sound.

I saw two lights glowing down the highway and I stuck my arm out hoping it would pick me up. I was so tired even though town was close. The truck pulled to a stop instantly as it saw me...bad sign. Someone sat in the front but I couldn't see their face. "Where to?" I the person said gruffly in a deep voice. "Nearest town." I replied and jumped into the passenger seat.
