I noticed that my sister still had some tears dripping down her cheeks from her breakdown earlier. I was about to wipe them away but jumped back with a shriek when they started to glow, illuminating some of the dark.

I jumped when my sister shrieked, "What's the matter?!" I asked starting to feel myself panic a little. Then the panic got replaced by this strange tingling in my hand. I looked down and my eyes widened when I saw a small orb of light resting in my palm. Is this my power?

"What's going on?" I asked my sister but mostly myself.
It's funny until someone gets hurt. Then it's just hilarious.
